  3. USAGE: SETUP.EXE Param1 [Param2 ...]
  4.  
  5. VidModeSelect - this will enable a dialog the lets the user choose between the
  6.                 "3Dfx" or "Standard" installations.  Without this switch, the
  7.                 3Dfx version is automatically installed if a correctly
  8.                 installed 3Dfx card is detected, and the standard version is
  9.                 installed otherwise.

  11. InstallDirectX- this will allow the user to install DirectX even if the version
  12.                 on the CD is the same or older as than the one they already have
  13.                 installed.

  15. ************** Resources used by the installer ***************

  17. SDBLURB.TXT       - Text to display in a "Text Message" dialog, the second
  18.                     dialog of the install. If SDLURB.TXT is not present the
  19.                     "Text Message" dialog is skipped.

  21. SRC[123...]BG.BMP - The background of the install window.  The image is resized
  22.                     to fill the entire screen at the current screen resolution.
  23.  
  24. SDLG[123...].BMP  - The image displayed on the left side of every Install Shield
  25.                     Dialog.

  27. NOTES:              The [123...] portion of the file name represents the number
  28.                     of the dialog it is assocated with:
  29.                     
  30.                     1 = Welcome Dialog
  31.                     2 = Text Message Dialog
  32.                     3 = Choose Folder Dialog
  33.                     4 = Choose Start Menu Folder Dialog
  34.                     5 = Finished Dialog
  35.                     
  36.                     For example, to display custom background and dialog
  37.                     bitmaps for the Text Message Dialog screen, put your
  38.                     custom SRC2BG.BMP and SLDG2.BMP bitmaps in the
  39.                     InstData folder.

  41.                     NOTE: Install Shield does not change the background bitmap
  42.                           very quickly.  Having more than one background bitmap
  43.                           can cause a noticable delay on slower machines when
  44.                           switching from one dialog to the next.
  45.                           
  46. BGMusic.wav       - If this file is present is will be played in the background
  47.                     during the install.  This file should be fairly small (<3MB)
  48.                     or InstallShield takes very long to start.
  49. DOMESTIC.INI      - Contains configuration information for the Domestic installations.
  50. INSTALL.INI       - Contains configuration information for the International installation.
  51. COMFUNC.DLL       - Some extra functions used by the installer.
  52. FXDET.DLL         - Used by installer to detect 3Dfx boards.
